My name is Dana Newcomb. I live in Berlin, Maryland with my husband and two children. I write a relatable ongoing tween series which inspires, entertains, & invokes emotions from the main character’s journal entries from the tail end of sixth grade through eighth grade.

As a new seventh grader at Cedar Middle School, Rebecca Sherman and her BFF, Mel, are still on shaky ground, and her butterflies are in overdrive after she finds out her new crush, Finn, has transferred to her school. All Becca wants is a good year. But middle school...Grr! She's too young to date, finds algebra difficult, is assigned two parts in the school play, and her seventh-grade friends continue to create drama.
